The Intellectual Self, The Emotional Self, The Sexual Self and The Body Self

The intellectual Self expresses by the means of ideas; the emotional
Self with feelings; the sexual self with desires; the body Self with
needs.

The intellectual Self wants to be, talking. It needs to learn not to be,
quiet.

The emotional Self wants to be loved, receive. It needs to learn to
love, give.

The sexual Self wants to possess, dominate. It needs to learn to
surrender, create.

The body Self wants to live, to have. It needs to learn to become
detached, die.

We think one thing, we love another, we desire even another, we do
something else. We need to learn to direct the four selves towards the
same goal.
